Welcome to our Year 6 Class Page

As we are sure you are aware, Year 6 is a very busy, exciting and challenging year. It is the culmination of our pupil’s time here at Monkton and we strive to ensure our pupils are provided with a wide-range of inspiring opportunities to build lifelong memories. As part of the Cornerstones curriculum, children will engage with a number of fantastic and interesting topics, with plenty of trips and experiences to make learning meaningful and memorable.

Year 6 comes with great responsibility. As the oldest children in school, pupils will have the opportunity to be playground buddies, prefects, sports captains and run for the prestigious house captaincy too!

Children will sit their SATs in May, so please ensure no holidays are booked during SATs week. Your children’s attendance during this crucial week is paramount.
