Year 4 have been exploring our school environment to find habitats and the organisms that live in there to kick start our new Science topic ‘Living things and their habitats’.

Today, Year 4 began exploring solids, liquids and gasses. What better way to do it than to use ourselves for the investigation!
We acted just like each state of matter by moving tightly together just like the molecules in a solid, a little further apart like the molecules in a liquid and then much further apart just like the molecules in a gas!
We do love using the outside area to learn Science as much as we can!
Today 4C have been investigating our school garden to see what habitats we have there and which living things can be found in those habitats. We then went inside and discussed all of the other habitats we know and what may live there.
